Job summary

NovogeneAIT Genomics in Brisbane is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive growth of NGS products and services in a defined territory. You will develop and implement sales strategies, build relationships with key decision-makers, and identify new business opportunities.

You will deliver product demonstrations, collaborate with technical, marketing and logistics teams, and maintain accurate records in SFDC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology or related field.
2+ years of experience in sales; NGS experience is a plus.
2+ years of experience in local academic research area.
Strong understanding of NGS technology and the life sciences market.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies for NGS products and services in a designated territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key decision-makers and influencers.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the market and competitive landscape.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new customer acquisition and upselling/cross-selling to existing customers.
Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers and prospects.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities in SFDC.
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
