Job summary

GQI Consulting in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain the organization's computer network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security across all sites.

You will configure devices from Cisco, HP, Aruba, Juniper and Fortinet, monitor performance with industry tools, provide onsite and remote support to staff and clients, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely upgrades and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• CCNA certificate or equivalent training preferred.
• 3+ years in network management/configuration/installation and administration.

Responsibilities

• Establish network systems and define their configuration per standards.
• Prepare reports on network performance and upgrades.
• Maintain network hardware/software with timely updates.
• Administer access to third-party apps to protect data.
• Troubleshoot network faults and resolve issues.
• Provide onsite and remote network support to staff and clients.
