City of Greater Geelong is seeking a civil engineer to contribute to the management of roads, footpaths, bridges, and related assets while coordinating third-party road reserve works and heavy-vehicle access applications. You will support planning and delivery of capital works projects to ensure safe, sustainable infrastructure.

In this role, you will contribute to the efficient and effective management of the City's civil infrastructure network, including roads, footpaths, bridges and associated civil assets. You will coordinate and assess third-party applications within Council road reserves, assess network access requirements and provide support for the planning and delivery of capital works projects. Your work will help ensure the City's infrastructure operates safely, sustainably and efficiently.
Two positions available. Permanent Full Time with consideration to Part Time
Band 6 $98,633 pa plus super
To be successful in this role, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to prioritise and organise tasks, and experience in civil engineering. You will be able to assess and schedule competing road access needs, analyse data to inform practical outcomes, and understand construction legislation with a focus on safety. Tertiary or technical qualifications in civil engineering or construction are highly desirable.
