Job summary

Hastha Solutions is seeking an experienced network and security engineer for a 6‑month contract in Australia, NSW. The role requires advanced configuration skills with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Routers and Nexus switches, and expertise in VXLAN, OSPF, and BGP routing.

Candidates should have ICS/SCADA exposure and the ability to travel to roadside and tunnel environments, including after-hours onsite work. Preferred qualifications include a tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer

Qualifications

• Security products expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and enterprise-grade configurations.
• Advanced Cisco networking with Routers, Wireless, Switches, and Nexus data center switches.
• In-depth knowledge of VXLAN, OSPF, and BGP routing and complex route redistribution.
• Experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS/SCADA), Modbus, PLCs, and related support networks.
• Willingness to travel to roadside, motorway, and tunnel environments and to perform after-hours onsite work during change windows.
• Active professional certifications in Cisco and/or Palo Alto technologies.
