Job summary

Luvo Talent is seeking an experienced Network Engineer for a hands-on, hybrid role in Adelaide or Melbourne. You will help design, implement, and operate enterprise LAN/WAN, security, and cloud networking environments while maintaining documentation and complying with change-management processes.

Required: 4+ years of hands-on network engineering in enterprise settings and an active NV1 clearance. You will work with Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, ISE, Riverbed, and SDN tools, supporting Azure and hybrid

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Network Engineering in enterprise environments.
• NV1 Australian Government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability and capacity; address issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and outages.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls and wireless APs.
• Support and maintain enterprise Cisco LAN/WAN and wireless environments.
• Work with Palo Alto firewalls and security controls.
• Perform network upgrades and changes per change-management processes.
• Contribute to WAN/LAN design and implementation.
• Implement and maintain network security controls (segmentation, access controls, firewall rules).
• Support cloud/hybrid networks including Azure.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams and asset records.

This is a hands‑on role combining network operations, troubleshooting, security and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of enterprise LAN, WAN and hybrid network environments.

Due to the nature of the environment, applicants must already hold a current NV1 Australian Government security clearance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Monitoring network performance, availability and capacity and proactively addressing potential issues
• Troubleshooting and resolving network incidents, outages, connectivity issues and performance degradation
• Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points
• Supporting and maintaining enterprise Cisco LAN/WAN and wireless environments
• Working with Palo Alto firewalls and associated network security controls
• Performing network upgrades, patching and changes in accordance with established change‑management processes
• Contributing to the design and implementation of WAN and LAN solutions aligned with industry best practice
• Implementing and maintaining network security controls, including segmentation, access controls, firewall rules and policies
• Supporting cloud and hybrid networking environments, including Azure
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and technology vendors to resolve technical issues
• Maintaining accurate network documentation, diagrams and asset records.

What We’re Looking For: You'll ideally bring 4+ years of hands‑on Network Engineering experience within enterprise environments, together with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability.

You must currently hold an NV1 Australian Government security clearance.
