Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate networks across a dispersed environment including 24/7 residential aged care facilities. You will support a cloud-first transition and ensure reliable connectivity across sites, reporting to the Technology Operations Manager.

You will design secure cloud connectivity, maintain documentation, and lead vendor evaluations.

Qualifications

• Current National Police Check OR Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Demonstrated experience with firewall administration and network security operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement networks across a geographically dispersed environment.
• Design secure cloud connectivity and remote access for operational needs.
• Maintain network design documentation and IP addressing plans.
• Manage network asset lifecycle and standardisation initiatives.
• Coordinate network vendor evaluation and site/network refresh activities.
• Operate LAN, WAN/SD-WAN, wireless, firewall, remote access, and unified communications across sites.
• Monitor network performance, capacity and availability; address issues proactively.
• Provide Level 3 technical support for network, telephony and nurse call systems.
