Job summary

The role requires hands‑on expertise with Cisco, SD‑WAN, firewalls and cloud connectivity (Azure and AWS), plus mentoring and stakeholder collaboration. A CCNP/CCIE or Fortinet NSE is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in enterprise networking.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching and firewall technologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or Fortinet NSE are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs and STP.
• Administer Cisco, Dell, Meraki and HPE Aruba networking solutions.
• Configure and support next-generation firewalls, SD-WAN, SASE and cloud connectivity (Azure and AWS).
• Monitor network performance and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and project support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to deliver secure, resilient network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs and STP.
• Administer Cisco, Dell, Meraki and HPE Aruba networking solutions.

Highly Desirable Criteria

• 5+ years’ experience in enterprise networking.

• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, SASE, VPNs and cloud networking.
• Experience supporting high-availability data centre environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSA/PCNSE or Fortinet NSE are highly regarded.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience with wireless networking (Meraki, HPE Aruba or Fortinet).
• Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, QoS and 3CX.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, APRA CPS 234 or similar security frameworks.
