Job summary

MPAU Technology is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure for a Not For Profit client across multiple sites in Australia. You will ensure reliable connectivity, optimize performance and drive secure networking practices.

The role covers Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto firewalls, Zscaler cloud security, SD-WAN and cloud networking with Azure. You will work across LAN/WAN, VPNs and security policies while collaborating with security, infrastructure

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Network Engineer in multi-site environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki technologies.
• Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience supporting Zscaler cloud security platforms.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, routing (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs, STP, Port Channels), wireless, VPN, and network security.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of cloud networking within Azure environments is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering network refresh or transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• CCNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure and reliable services.
• Participate in incident management, problem management, and continuous improvement activities.

Profile

A successful 'Network Engineer' should have:

Strong experience as a Network Engineer in multi-site environments.

Hands‑on expertise with Cisco Meraki technologies.

Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls.

Experience supporting Zscaler cloud security platforms.

Strong understanding of:
