Job summary
Infosys is seeking a Network Activation Engineer (Enterprise Telecom) to design, implement, and troubleshoot advanced network solutions across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and security platforms in enterprise environments.
Based in Australia with hybrid working options, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with customers, and drive successful activation and delivery of services, including Cisco/Juniper gear and Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of Activation and Implementation experience.
- Strong knowledge of Routing/Switching and SD-WAN technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, Velocloud, and Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver proposals and design documentation including HLD and LLD based on customer requirements.
- Perform design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Routing/Switching and SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki & VMware Velocloud).
- Create detailed Visio drawings for low-level designs.
- Configure and manage Cisco & Juniper products across LAN and WAN.
- Ensure understanding of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and related technologies.
- Work with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and Layer 2 concepts (STP, VLANs).
- Implement IP services (IPv4/IPv6, VPN, QoS, SNMP).
- Participate in enterprise network project design, migration, and problem resolution.
- Provide WLAN/Wi-Fi expertise and 802.11 security architecture.

- Develop and deliver professional proposals and design documentation including HLD and LLD based upon customer requirement. Perform design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Routing/Switching and SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela ,Meraki & VMware Velocloud).
- Detailed Low level Visio drawings using MS Visio.
- Configure and manage Cisco & Juniper products across LAN and WAN environments.
- Ensure solid understanding and application of IP/MPLS and Ethernet technologies.
- Work with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and Layer 2 technologies like STP, VLANs, Trunks, Port-Channel, and Static Routing.
- Implement and troubleshoot IP services including IPv4/IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QoS, and SNMP.
- Handle networking topologies and protocols such as MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping, and QoS.
- Participate in design, implementation, migration, and problem resolution projects involving enterprise network technologies.
- Provide expertise in wireless technologies including WLAN topologies, devices, troubleshooting, and 802.11 network security architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful activation and delivery of services.
- Design + implementation + Assurance L3
- Hands‑on expertise in Palo Alto Prisma SD‑WAN architecture, including:
- ION devices (branch, DC, cloud)
- Controllers, management portals, and analytics

- Hands‑on expertise in Palo Alto Prisma SD‑WAN architecture, including:

- Minimum 4 yrs of experience required in Activation and Implementation.
- Deep knowledge of Routing/Switching and SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela , Meraki &VMware Velocloud).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco & Juniper networking products.
- Strong understanding of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and enterprise network architectures.
- Proficiency in protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, Trunks, Port-Channel.
- Experience with IP services: IPv4/IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QoS, SNMP.
- Familiarity with MPLS, VRF, SIP, and traffic shaping techniques.
- Exposure to wireless LAN technologies and security standards (802.11).
- Ability to work on design, implementation, and troubleshooting projects independently.
