Job summary

John Holland Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a .NET Developer to join our Software Development team, supporting the design, enhancement and maintenance of custom-built applications used across John Holland. Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and fellow developers to deliver solutions that improve how our business operates.

This is a 12-month parental leave opportunity with exposure to both enterprise systems and emerging AI-driven

Qualifications

• Strong .NET development experience, including C# and Web APIs.
• Experience in Agile software development teams.
• Knowledge of Microsoft development technologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain .NET applications and services.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to deliver requirements.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to development standards.
• Design and implement automated testing to support quality software delivery.
• Explore and develop AI-based solutions and prototypes.

We're looking for a .NET Developer to join our Software Development team, supporting the design, enhancement and maintenance of custom-built applications used across John Holland. Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and fellow developers to deliver solutions that improve how our business operates. This is an opportunity to contribute to both established enterprise systems and emerging AI-driven initiatives, including proof-of-concepts, AI models and intelligent agents. What we are looking for
