Job summary

John Holland is seeking a .NET Developer to support the design, enhancement and maintenance of custom-built applications across our organisation. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with BAs, POs and developers to deliver solutions, including AI-driven prototypes and proof-of-concepts.

This is a 12-month parental leave opportunity, with flexible work arrangements and opportunities to contribute to iconic Australian projects.

Qualifications

• Strong .NET development experience, including C# and Web APIs.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.
• Knowledge of Microsoft development technologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate root causes and deliver solutions.
• Ability to build effective relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in emerging technologies, AI solutions and continuous learning.

• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues

• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to development standards

About the Role

We're looking for a .NET Developer to join our Software Development team, supporting the design, enhancement and maintenance of custom-built applications used across John Holland. Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and fellow developers to deliver solutions that improve how our business operates. This is an opportunity to contribute to both established enterprise systems and emerging AI-driven initiatives, including proof-of-concepts, AI models and intelligent agents.
