Job summary

Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Rockhampton Hospital's Special Care Nursery. You will deliver holistic neonatal care within a collaborative team, assess and implement care plans for babies and families, and contribute to education and leadership within the unit.

Mandatory AHPRA registration with a current practising certificate is required, with ideally two years of neonatal experience or a relevant qualification.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA and current practising certificate is mandatory.
• At least two years of neonatal nursing experience or a relevant neonatal qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic neonatal care in the Special Care Nursery.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for babies and families.
• Respond to changes in clinical condition and uphold evidence-based practice.
• Support patient and family education and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Develop clinical leadership and neonatal nursing capability.
