Rockhampton Hospital, the major referral hospital for Central Queensland, provides maternity and neonatal care across the region. The Special Care Nursery offers high-quality, family-integrated care and collaborates with an multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse with AHPRA to contribute to safe neonatal practice, support education for families, and develop leadership within the unit.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and current practising certificate.
• At least two years of neonatal nursing experience.
• Willingness to develop neonatal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic neonatal care in the Special Care Nursery.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for babies and families.
• Support education for patients and families; contribute to learning environment.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and evidence-based practice.
