Job summary
Queensland Health's Neonatal Service in Rockhampton seeks a NUM to lead a dedicated nursing team delivering Level 4 neonatal care across Central Queensland. Qualifications
- Current NMBA registration as RN or RN/Midwife.
- Advanced neonatal expertise and up-to-date knowledge of practice.
- Operational management experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong leadership, governance and data analysis skills.
- Passion for developing people and implementing evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
- Provide visible clinical leadership to the Neonatal Unit.
- Drive quality improvement, governance, and education initiatives.
- Oversee workforce planning, rostering and resource management.
- Foster a learning culture and mentor nursing staff.
