Job summary

AW Bell is seeking an NDT Technician to join during a growth phase in Victoria, Australia. The role focuses on penetrant testing, radiography, and other NDT methods, with opportunities to advance into leadership.

Candidates should hold a relevant Diploma and at least 1 year of full-time NDT work, or 3 years' equivalent experience. PT2 or DR certification (or Level 2) is preferred, along with strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma and at least 1 year of full-time NDT experience, or 3 years equivalent.
• Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT2) and/or Digital Radiography certification, or demonstrated level 2 experience.
• Ability to read casting drawings and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspection techniques including penetrant and radiography.
• Prepare castings for inspection and handle safely.
• Identify defects and classify per acceptance criteria.
• Generate inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Adhere to safety procedures and assist with development of guidelines.
