Job summary

AW Bell is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our Victoria-based manufacturing team. This permanent, full-time role offers exposure to PT2 and Digital Radiography within a Nadcap-certified facility and opportunities to grow into leadership positions.

You will perform various NDT inspection techniques, prepare castings for inspection, identify defects, generate reports, and maintain calibration of equipment, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in NDT or equivalent and minimum 1 year full-time experience, or 3 years equivalent experience.
• Experience with Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT2) and/or Digital Radiography (level 2) preferred.
• Strong data interpretation, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing inspection techniques including penetrant, radiography, and other required methods.
• Prepare castings for inspection, including cleaning and safe handling.
• Identify defects and classify according to industry standards and acceptance criteria.
• Generate detailed inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained; perform system checks.
• Adhere to safety procedures and assist with development of inspection guidelines.
