Job summary

Thales Group in Benalla, Australia, is seeking an NDT Technician to join our on-site team. The role requires NAS-410 NDT Level 2 (Radiography) or equivalent, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.

This position supports our defence-related projects with opportunities for detailed technical reporting and collaboration. Applicants should be team players, with high attention to detail and the ability to meet tight

OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses.

YOUR ROLE

• NAS-410, NDT Level 2 (Radiography) or equivalent
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments
• Proficiency in technical reporting and Microsoft Office

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Ideally trade qualified (Engineering/Science) or have attained a Year 12 certificate with a maths /science subject matter.
• Enjoy working within a team environment
• Clear and influential verbal and written communication.
• A high attention of detail.
• Technical report writing skills an advantage.
• High levels of organisational ability to meet required timelines.
