Job summary

Allambi Care in New South Wales is seeking a dedicated Support Coordinator to help NDIS participants understand and implement their plans. You will connect clients with providers, assist with budgets, and promote genuine choice and control through a participant-centred approach.

You will work within the NDIS Practice Standards, build capacity for independence, and collaborate with a wide range of services. Relevant qualifications and experience in disability support are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience working with people with a disability, including children.
• Experience with NDIS Price Guide and service quoting.
• Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to identify and manage risks, incidents and complaints.
• Proven negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated extensive collaboration to achieve participant outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess options and link to mainstream, community, informal and provider services.
• Choose and negotiate services with providers and create service bookings.
• Manage budgets and inform plan managers of fund breakdowns.
• Support capacity building and independence in participants.
• Prepare for plan reviews and support transitions for continuity.
