Job summary

WISE Employment is seeking casual Support Workers to join the Moreton Bay NDIS services pool. You will support participants with their plans, help them engage in community activities, and assist with transport and daily living tasks across the Moreton Bay region and surrounding areas.

This role requires a minimum commitment of four hours per week, with shifts rostered Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with a disability
• Understanding the effects of disability on social relationships, independent living, daily needs, health, and employment
• Experience supporting participants with individualised plans and goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify, organise and utilise resources for participants
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team
• Demonstrates empathy, compassion and integrity
• Current valid driver's license and own transport

• Engage participants in community activities and support their individualised plans and goals
• Build connections within the community and assist participants to attend events
• Assist participants with transport and daily living tasks as required
