Job summary

RSP Services Plumbing & Excavation in Wagga Wagga is seeking a reliable NDD Truck Operator to join our local Riverina team. You will support non‑destructive digging projects, operate the NDD truck and help expose underground services while maintaining equipment and documentation.

We welcome applicants with a willingness to learn; an HR licence is an advantage and may be funded for the right person. White Card and Australian work rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a current White Card.
• Be physically fit and capable of performing the role’s manual tasks.
• Have strong motivation, a can‑do attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
• Be willing to obtain a police check.
• Have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Operate NDD truck within training and licence requirements.
• Assist with the safe exposure of underground services.
• Carry out hands‑on site work and support the crew.
• Complete daily pre‑start checks and job documentation.
• Keep the truck, equipment and work area clean and well‑maintained.
• Follow site safety procedures and report hazards or equipment issues.

About the role

You’ll work alongside our plumbing and excavation team, helping deliver non‑destructive digging services across a range of sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating NDD truck within your training and licence requirements.
• Assisting with the safe exposure of underground services.
• Carrying out hands‑on site work and supporting the crew.
• Completing daily pre‑start checks and job documentation.
• Keeping the truck, equipment and work area clean and well‑maintained.
• Following site safety procedures and reporting hazards or equipment issues.

About you

You’re dependable, comfortable with physical work and ready to get stuck in. You work well with others, follow instructions and understand the importance of working safely around underground services.

To be considered, you must:

• Hold a current White Card.
• Be physically fit and capable of performing the role’s manual tasks.

Previous NDD, civil construction, or excavation experience will be highly regarded. An existing HR licence is an advantage, but is not essential for the right applicant.
