Job summary

Saab Australia is seeking an Integration, Test and Trials Discipline Manager to lead systems engineering across the CSI-IPT. You will drive design integration, test planning, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery for Navy capability upgrades.

The role requires 15+ years in systems engineering, with strong PM capabilities and experience with DOORS and Cameo. Hybrid work options and a collaborative culture are offered as part of Saab Australia’s defence portfolio.

Qualifications

• Advanced engineering qualification in Systems Engineering or related discipline; defence industry experience advantageous.
• Certifications in systems engineering highly desirable.
• Minimum 15 years in systems engineering for complex/military/software-intensive systems.
• Experience across at least four lifecycle phases.

Responsibilities

• Design/functional integration of equipment into the platform (CAT 4/5).
• Support to install field engineering, system staging & grooming, CS alignment.
• Test planning and operations, STW, live asset coordination, test equipment and regression testing.
• Contribute to the engineering framework and reporting.
• Manage interfaces with stakeholders and mentoring of junior staff.
