Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Manager to lead and influence SHE practices across Australian operations. You will partner with leaders to strengthen risk management, support compliance obligations and build capability across manufacturing, warehousing and commercial sites.

You’ll own the nationally scoped SHE framework, drive continuous improvement, maintain ISO 14001, and support audits, training and incident investigations to reduce risk and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant SHE experience in manufacturing, warehousing or similar operations.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS/OHS and environmental legislation.
• Experience managing or supporting an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
• Strong risk assessment, incident investigation and corrective action management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the organisation's SHE framework.
• Champion a positive safety, health and environmental culture across all locations.
• Provide expert advice to leaders and employees on SHE matters.
• Coordinate hazard identification, risk assessment and effective risk-control practices.
• Manage incident investigations, corrective actions and organisational learnings.
• Support audits, training initiatives and SHE capability development.
