Job summary

Lion seeks a Senior National Support Analyst to support pricing, promotion, and planning data across Australia, enabling strong commercial decisions. You will ensure accurate information and streamlined processes within the Independents team.

Based in Sydney on a 12-month secondment, you will collaborate with Sales, Customer Support and other teams, applying Excel and data skills to improve pricing, trade execution and analytics for national accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills, including confidence using XLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Experience working with data, systems and operational processes.
• Good commercial understanding and an interest in pricing and promotional activity.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to understand the downstream impact of changes.
• Confidence building relationships and working closely with Sales teams and other stakeholders.
• A proactive, forward-thinking approach with an interest in continuous improvement.
• Ability to prioritise, delegate and guide others to deliver.
• FMCG or experience within a large corporate environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting promotional and core pricing activity, including CPI pricing and wholesaler requirements.
• Managing and maintaining accurate pricing, trade spend and planning information.
• Working across wholesale portals and internal systems to support effective execution.
• Partnering closely with Sales, Customer Support and other teams to resolve issues and keep activity moving.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce duplication and strengthen ways of working.
• Providing guidance, prioritisation and support to analyst workflows.
• Using data and reporting to support commercial decisions.
