Job summary

Culture Kings is seeking a Head of Retail Sales & Operations to lead national retail performance across all nine ANZ stores, driving core growth levers and optimizing wage-to-sales and stock governance.

You will build a strong leadership bench, oversee employment lifecycles, and deliver weekly to quarterly performance insights to the executive team, partnering across Finance, P&C and Merch Planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a multi-site retail network.
• Track record of driving profitable sales growth against budget through core levers.
• Experience owning wage-to-sales and shrink/loss-prevention in a labour-heavy retail environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, replenishment and stocktake governance.
• Experience recruiting, developing and retaining store leadership with succession planning.
• Working knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES and Modern Award obligations as they apply to retail teams.
• Experience delivering new store openings, from readiness through to sales ramp.
• Strong analytical and reporting capability with experience presenting to executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own national retail sales performance across all nine ANZ stores and drive core growth levers (sales per SQM, conversion, UPT, ATV).
• Govern wage-to-sales and shrink as core controllable costs and manage store-level inventory control and stocktake governance.
• Lead employment lifecycle for store teams and build an A-grade Store Manager bench and internal talent pipeline.
• Oversee readiness and sales ramp for new store openings across the network.
• Provide clear, data-led performance reporting to the VP and executive team weekly, monthly and quarterly.
