Job summary

Apex Group is looking for a National Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and trades across multiple sites, based from our new office south of the River in Western Australia.

You’ll manage the full lifecycle from job briefing and sourcing through to offer and mobilisation, partner with operational leaders to prioritise vacancies, and build a strong talent pipeline for hard‑to‑fill trades while handling pre-employment checks and inductions.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting blue-collar trades, ideally within mining, energy & resources.
• Comfortable managing high-volume requisitions across multiple locations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trust with operational leaders.

Our client is a well-established operator in the mining, energy and resources sector with a national footprint. As part of an internal restructure, they're looking for a National Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment for their blue-collar and trades workforce across multiple sites based out of their new office South of the River.

About the role

This is a genuine internal recruitment position, working closely with operational leaders to resource critical trades roles nationally. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from job briefing and sourcing through to offer and mobilisation — while building a strong talent pipeline across the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for blue-collar and trades roles (auto electrical, mechanical fitting, heavy diesel, and related trades) across multiple sites nationally
• Partner with operational and site leaders to understand workforce demand and hiring priorities
• Build and maintain a strong, proactive candidate pipeline for hard-to-fill trades
• Coordinate pre-employment and compliance requirements, including medicals and site inductions
• Provide market insights and hiring advice to internal stakeholders

About you

• Proven experience recruiting blue-collar trades, ideally within mining, energy & resources.
• Comfortable managing high-volume requisitions across multiple locations
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust with operational leaders
• Confident using an ATS to manage pipelines and reporting
