Job summary

Indigeco Pty Ltd in Canberra is seeking an APS5 Project Officer to support national public health surveillance programs focused on antimicrobial use and resistance. You will assist the Program Manager and Senior Project Officer with day-to-day coordination across two national systems.

This role suits someone with APS5-level experience in project administration, health or science environments, and a strong willingness to learn complex concepts while working with technical teams.

Qualifications

• APS5-level experience in project, program or administration coordination.
• Experience in Commonwealth Government, health or science environments is valued.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience supporting contracts, procurement and vendor administration is favorable.
• Comfort working with technical teams and learning complex scientific concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project coordination across national surveillance systems.
• Provide operational and secretariat support to the Program Manager and Senior Project Officer.
• Assist with contracts, procurement, funding administration and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across teams, laboratories and service providers.
• Support data governance activities, data requests and user access processes.
• Assist with reporting, publications, dashboards and analytics coordination.
• Maintain program documents, meeting records and action registers.
