Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions is seeking a National Head of Clinical Development - Speech Pathology to lead the growth of our Speech Pathology workforce and influence clinical standards across the organisation.

You will develop a national clinical development strategy, lead the Allied Health Warrior CPD Program, and design structured learning pathways while mentoring clinicians across multiple locations, maintaining a ~12 hour/week clinical caseload.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience as a Speech Pathologist.
• Leadership experience within Allied Health, Disability, Community Health or NDIS services.
• Experience designing professional development programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience driving governance, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop a national clinical development strategy for Speech Pathology.
• Lead professional development initiatives through the Allied Health Warrior CPD Program.
• Design and deliver learning pathways, workshops and advanced training programs.
• Provide mentorship, supervision and leadership to Speech Pathologists across locations.
• Drive clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Support strong clinical outcomes within an NDIS and billable service environment.
• Partner with operational leaders to optimise service quality and clinician performance.
• Contribute to innovation, research-informed practice and service development.
• Maintain a reduced clinical caseload of approximately 12 hours per week.
