Optimum Health Solutions, a national allied health organisation, seeks a National Head of Clinical Development - Speech Pathology to lead clinical standards and workforce growth across NSW, Tasmania and beyond. You will shape clinician development programs, governance practices, and service delivery models while maintaining a partial clinical caseload.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience as a Speech Pathologist.
• Demonstrated leadership within Allied Health, Disability, Community Health or NDIS services.
• Strong understanding of clinical utilisation, KPIs and billable service delivery models.
• Experience designing and delivering professional development programs.
• Strong mentoring, supervision and coaching capability.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience driving clinical governance, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to influence and lead change across a geographically dispersed workforce.

About the Role

As National Head of Clinical Development - Speech Pathology, you will lead the growth and development of our Speech Pathology workforce while influencing clinical standards across the organisation.

You will:

• Develop and execute a national clinical development strategy for Speech Pathology
• Lead and expand professional development initiatives through the Allied Health Warrior CPD Program
• Design and deliver structured learning pathways, workshops and advanced training programs
• Provide mentorship, supervision and leadership to Speech Pathologists across multiple locations
• Drive clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence-based practice
• Support strong clinical outcomes within an NDIS and billable service environment
• Partner with operational leaders to optimise service quality, utilisation and clinician performance
• Contribute to innovation, research-informed practice and service development
• Maintain a clinical caseload of approximately 3.5 days per week

About You

You are a passionate Speech Pathology leader who enjoys developing clinicians, influencing clinical standards and driving meaningful change.

You will bring:

• 8+ years' experience as a Speech Pathologist
• Demonstrated leadership experience within Allied Health, Disability, Community Health or NDIS services
• Strong understanding of clinical utilisation, KPIs and billable service delivery models
• Advanced clinical expertise across communication, swallowing and complex presentations
• Experience designing and delivering professional development programs
• Strong mentoring, supervision and coaching capability
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience driving clinical governance, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to influence and lead change across a geographically dispersed workforce
