Job summary

Zurich Insurance is seeking a National Product Manager, Group Product in Australia to lead the design and management of Group Insurance products, delivering commercially viable solutions and strong governance. Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the Australian Group or Life Insurance market and superannuation environment.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory and legislative environment affecting Group and Life Insurance.
• Experience leading customer-focused product innovation and process improvement, including using AI.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgement, translating complex information into practical product and risk decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes.
• Actuarial experience or qualifications will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and ongoing management of sustainable, commercially viable Group Insurance products.
• Manage a prioritised portfolio of client product activity and deliver high-quality product support.
• Monitor product performance and drive product reviews, enhancements and roadmaps.
• Support tenders, pricing, sales and retention opportunities.
• Maintain strong product governance, regulatory compliance and controls.
• Collaborate across the Product team to manage priorities, resources and capability.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and strengthen Zurich’s external product profile.
