Job summary

Zurich Australia is seeking a National Product Manager, Group Product, to lead the design and ongoing management of sustainable Group Insurance products across the Australian market.

Reporting to the Head of Product and Proposition, you will drive innovation, governance and AI-enabled solutions while building strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the Australian Group or Life Insurance market and superannuation environment.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory and legislative environment affecting Group and Life Insurance.
• Experience leading customer-focused product innovation and process improvement, including using AI.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgement; translating complex information into practical product decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive and self-directed, with ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes.
• Actuarial experience or qualifications will be highly regarded.

As National Product Manager, Group Product, you will lead technical excellence and innovation across our Group Insurance Product team. Reporting to the Head of Product and Proposition, you'll provide product expertise to the development and management of innovative Group Insurance products for our partners and their members.

Bringing actuarial expertise, you'll turn customer needs and product ideas into commercially viable solutions, while using innovation, technology and AI to improve how we work and strengthen our digital proposition.

You will build team capability, strengthen professional standards and support the continued growth of our Group Insurance business.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Lead the design and ongoing management of sustainable, commercially viable Group Insurance products.
