Job summary

Acusensus is seeking a hands-on Repair and Maintenance Manager to lead our national field service operation across Australia. You’ll oversee an amazing team of Service Leads and ensure our field assets remain reliable, available, and operating to the highest standards.

You’ll also drive structure, consistency, and alignment across teams, implementing best practices for service excellence. You’ll bring a background in maintenance/field service, strong leadership, and proven ability to improve

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience across multiple sites or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong hands-on background in maintenance, field service, or technical operations within automotive/transport sectors.
• Experience implementing SOPs, processes, and performance measures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a reactive service environment.
• Demonstrated mindset for continuous improvement and standardisation.
• Trade or engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of Service Leads across Australia.
• Drive asset reliability and service performance across the region.
• Implement and improve SOPs, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate installations of new fixed enforcement sites.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Delivery, and Helpdesk teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contractors, resources, and spare parts.
• Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop team capability through coaching.
