Job summary

Acusensus is seeking a hands-on Repair and Maintenance Manager to lead our national field service operation across Australia. You’ll oversee an amazing team of Service Leads and ensure our field assets remain reliable, available, and operating to the highest standards.

You’ll also drive structure, consistency, and alignment across teams, implementing best practices for service excellence. You’ll bring a background in maintenance/field service, strong leadership, and proven ability to improve

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience across multiple sites or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong hands-on background in maintenance, field service, or technical operations within automotive/transport sectors.
• Experience implementing SOPs, processes, and performance measures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a reactive service environment.
• Demonstrated mindset for continuous improvement and standardisation.
• Trade or engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

• Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop team capability through coaching.

We’re on the hunt for a hands-on Repair and Maintenance Manager to lead our national field service operation across Australia!

This is a newly created leadership role where you’ll oversee an amazing team of Service Leads, along with ensuring our field assets remain reliable, available and operating to the highest standards. You’ll also play a key role in bringing structure, consistency, and alignment across teams, implementing processes, and best-practice ways of working that drive service excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of Service Leads.
• Drive asset reliability and service performance across Australia.
• Implement and improve SOP’s, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate installations of new fixed enforcement sites.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Delivery, and Helpdesk teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

You thrive in fast-paced environments, are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, and have a track record of driving improvements while keeping customers and teams at the centre of your decision-making.

You’ll Bring

• Experience leading multi-site or geographically dispersed technical teams.
• Strong hands-on background in maintenance, field service, technical operations, automotive, transport, fleet, or mechanical environments.
• Experience implementing operational processes, SOPs, and performance measures.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing competing priorities in a reactive service environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive change and standardisation.
• Trade qualification, Engineering qualification, or equivalent industry experience.
