Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Sydney, New South Wales is seeking a Customer Development Manager to lead the national Metcash relationship, deliver the National Business Plan and key growth strategies, and maximise return on promotional investment.

Reporting to the Customer Development Team Leader, you will coach two Customer Development Executives, collaborate with the Independents CDT, field sales and Retail Marketing to bring plans to market and continuously optimise performance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering commercial objectives across categories.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
• Develop promotional strategies and action plans to maximise growth and analyse post-event results.
• Monitor sales and distribution performance for new products and adjust actions accordingly.
• Implement and maintain Category Management initiatives with the independent trade in collaboration with the relevant manager.
• Partner with state field operations to ensure execution of strategies at field level.
• Coach and develop two direct reports to excel in their roles and engage with customers.
