Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Australia is seeking a National Air Logistics Pricing Manager to shape commercial decisions and drive growth. You will standardise pricing processes nationwide, guide tender responses, and foster strong customer partnerships while ensuring profitability within a fast-paced environment.

Working with customers, sales teams, product experts and global stakeholders, you will transform market intelligence into competitive pricing strategies aligned with local and global objectives,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in freight forwarding/logistics operations, with Air Logistics experience highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen to develop pricing strategies, manage tenders, and balance customer needs with business objectives.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence decision-makers and build trusted relationships.

As our National Air Logistics Pricing Manager, you'll sit at the heart of Kuehne+Nagel's Air Logistics business, helping shape the commercial decisions that drive growth across Australia. Working closely with customers, sales teams, product experts, and key stakeholders across our global network, you'll transform market intelligence into competitive pricing strategies that win business while protecting profitability. • Drive commercial success: Develop and execute pricing strategies that support growth, profitability, and long-term business objectives across the Air Logistics business.
• Become a trusted advisor: Partner with customers, sales teams, and business stakeholders, providing pricing expertise and consultative support throughout the customer engagement cycle.
• Lead strategic tenders: Support and advise on complex tenders, customer proposals, and commercial opportunities while participating in customer discussions when required.
• Drive pricing excellence: Establish and maintain national rate management processes, ensuring consistency from customer engagement through to handover and invoicing.
• Collaborate across the business: Work closely with Sales, SMEs, Operations, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment between pricing strategy and business goals.
• Shape future growth: Identify market opportunities, recommend pricing improvements, and implement initiatives that strengthen Kuehne+Nagel's competitive position.
• Monitor performance: Track pricing effectiveness, analyse results, and make data-driven recommendations that support sustainable growth and profitability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, and industry regulations, with Air Logistics experience highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop pricing strategies, manage tenders, and balance customer needs with business objectives.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence decision-makers, build trusted relationships, and confidently represent products and solutions.
• Passion for process improvement, standardisation, and driving operational excellence across a national organisation.
• Highly motivated, results-driven, and adaptable, with the ability to lead change in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver commercial solutions that create long-term value.
