Job summary

A leading IT services provider in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Communications Systems Technician for a 6-month contract. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing critical communications systems, including radio and CCTV. Ideal candidates will have ACMA Open Cabler registration and solid hands-on experience. This role offers the chance to work in a diverse environment and contribute significantly to operations.

Qualifications

• ACMA Open Cabler Registration (fibre, coax, structured cabling).
• Trade qualification or solid hands-on experience in communications systems.
• Current National Police Clearance (last 3 months).
• Valid WA driver's licence (C class or above).

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Communications Systems Technician to join a team on a 6-month contract. You'll be hands-on with the install, maintenance, and fault-finding of critical communications systems that support day-to-day operations.

What you'll be doing

• Install, maintain, and repair radio, fibre, CCTV, PA, telephony, and security systems
• Work with copper and fibre cabling, power supplies, and transmission equipment
• Troubleshoot faults and carry out corrective maintenance
• Follow safety, quality, and technical standards on site

What you'll need

• ACMA Open Cabler Registration (fibre, coax, structured cabling)
• Trade qualification or solid hands-on experience in communications systems
• Current National Police Clearance (last 3 months)
