Job summary

Waverley Council is seeking a hands-on Team Member to support the maintenance and presentation of parks, reserves, streetscapes and public spaces. You’ll work as part of a supportive team to ensure areas are safe, attractive and welcoming to the community.

The role requires a Class C driver licence, white card, and fitness to perform outdoor labour. Training and health initiatives are available, with comprehensive employee support.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class C Driver licence (or willing to obtain).
• Current WHS General Construction Induction (white) card, or willing to obtain on commencement.
• Physically fit to undertake driving and labouring outdoors.
• Ability to follow directions and interact courteously with staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Waverley’s open spaces and public areas.
• Contribute to safety, presentation and welcoming environment for the community.
