Darafsheh Pty Ltd is seeking a Multimedia Specialist to design, develop and maintain its website, customer application and multimedia platforms. The role combines web development with multimedia design, including digital imaging, animation, video and interactive content.

The successful candidate will lead the digital expansion, integrate multimedia content across platforms, and work with management from planning through launch to ongoing improvements. Salary: $75,000-90,000; permanent full‑time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in multimedia development, web development, or interactive media.
• Tertiary qualification in Multimedia, IT, Computer Science or Digital Media.
• Strong experience building professional websites and web-based applications.

Job Description
Darafsheh Pty Ltd The Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Darafsheh’s website, customer application and multimedia platforms . The position combines web development and programming with multimedia design, including digital imaging, animation, video, audio and interactive content.

The successful candidate will develop new digital features, integrate multimedia content into our online platforms, coordinate technical matters such as hosting, security and backups, and provide ongoing support as Darafsheh’s digital presence grows. The role will also work closely with management to turn business requirements into practical website, application and multimedia solutions , from initial planning and development through to launch and ongoing improvement. Long-term role Task & responsibilities Design and continually develop the Darafsheh website , creating an interactive digital experience for customers to explore our cakes, pastries, customised products and seasonal ranges.

Design and develop a Darafsheh customer application to support product browsing, customer accounts, promotions, loyalty features and future online services. Build interactive website and application features using appropriate programming and scripting languages . Integrate code with product photography, graphics, animation, video, audio and other multimedia elements across our digital platforms.

Develop interactive ways for customers to explore custom cake designs, flavours, product options and seasonal collections online. Create professional video, animation, motion graphics, digital imaging and interactive presentations for new products, campaigns and special occasions. Develop multimedia content that can be used consistently across Darafsheh's website, application and other digital channels.

Maintain and improve the website and application after launch, including testing, troubleshooting, fixing technical issues and introducing new features. Work with hosting and ICT providers on website security, hosting, backups, user access, server capacity and disaster-recovery arrangements . Monitor the performance and reliability of Darafsheh's website and digital applications and resolve technical issues affecting customers.

Work with management to develop Darafsheh's long-term digital and internet strategy , including new online services and multimedia technologies. Translate business ideas into practical website, application and multimedia solutions and manage their development from planning through implementation. Ensure Darafsheh maintains a consistent visual identity and customer experience across its website, applications and multimedia content.

Qualification & experience Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in multimedia development, web development, interactive media or a related field. Relevant tertiary qualification in Multimedia, IT, Computer Science, Digital Media, Web Development or a related discipline. Strong experience developing professional websites and web-based applications.

Experience developing or contributing to web or mobile applications . Strong skills in digital imaging, video editing, animation and multimedia production. Understanding of website hosting, security, backups and business-continuity requirements.

Ability to manage multimedia projects from initial concept through implementation and ongoing support. Professional fluency in English and Persian , including the ability to develop and adapt digital content for both English- and Persian-speaking audiences.
