Print & Design is an Ingleburn-based commercial print and design business providing design, print and installation solutions under one roof. We work with businesses across areas such as real estate, trades, hospitality, new businesses, office stationery, promotional products and personalised print.

We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Multimedia Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. The role combines digital and print design, client communication and production-ready artwork, with a strong focus on turning customer ideas into accurate, effective visual solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Consult with clients and internal staff to determine design objectives, audience and communication requirements for print and digital projects.
• Plan and develop multimedia concepts and layouts for promotional and marketing material including business cards, flyers, brochures, posters, menus, banners, signage, labels, vehicle graphics and promotional products.
• Create and adapt digital visual content using text, images, graphics and, where required, animation/video elements for online, social media and other digital promotional applications.
• Prepare artwork and production-ready files for print and digital delivery, ensuring correct dimensions, resolution, colour, typography, bleed and file formats.
• Present design concepts, incorporate client feedback and negotiate practical design solutions with clients, sales staff and production personnel.
• Coordinate with print-production and installation staff so approved designs are suitable for selected media, materials and finished products.
• Maintain organised artwork files, templates and archives for repeat orders and future client use, while managing multiple projects to agreed deadlines.

• Strong understanding of visual communication, typography, layout, colour, imagery, branding and design for different audiences and media.
• Ability to prepare accurate production artwork and adapt designs across print, digital and social-media applications.

• Ability to work effectively in a customer-focused, deadline-driven commercial environment.

Experience

• At least 1 year full-time professional experience or equivalent in commercial design, print, signage, advertising or promotional work is essential.
• At least 1 year full-time professional experience or equivalent in preparing artwork for both digital publication and physical production is essential
• At least 1 year full-time professional experience or equivalent working directly from client briefs and managing revisions to deadlines is preferred.

Specific Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications (i.e. Diploma, Advance Diploma, bachelor's degree and/or higher level) in Multimedia Design, Screen & Media, Interactive Media, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a closely related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional capability is essential.
• Professional portfolio demonstrating commercial design projects across print and digital media.
• Competence with industry-standard graphic/multimedia design software and print-production file preparation is required.
