Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of capital projects that improve reliability, efficiency and long-term sustainability across our Australian operations. You will coordinate projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

You will work closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams, managing schedules, budgets, contractors and reporting requirements while implementing asset upgrades

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering, maintenance or capital projects in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of capital projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate project activities, including contractor management, scheduling, documentation and reporting.
• Work closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades and asset improvement initiatives.
• Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, risk management and capital expenditure reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, operational performance and workplace safety.
