Job summary

Category 5 Labour Management is seeking dependable HR Drivers to support waste collection across Townsville and Ayr, QLD. The role runs Monday to Friday with an early start at 4.45am, combining driving, customer interaction and on-site teamwork.

Applicants must hold an HR licence and are expected to perform pre-start inspections, safe loading, and assist with bin collection while maintaining safety and reliability. Travel to Ayr is required as needed; company vehicle and fuel provided.

Qualifications

• HR licence required.
• Experience with side arm and hook truck operations highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate company collection vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Transport and deliver loads to designated recycling and disposal facilities
• Assist with safe loading and unloading of trucks
• Provide professional customer and client interaction on-site
• Perform bin collection, including rear‑lift operations
• Move and handle large bins (requires a reasonable level of physical fitness)
• Support Bin Runner duties when required
• Travel to Ayr as needed (company vehicle and fuel provided)

We are seeking dependable, safety‑focused HR Drivers to support waste collection during the week, with opportunities across Townsville and Ayr, QLD. This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy hands‑on work, value safety and reliability, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The position combines driving, customer interaction, and physical tasks across waste and environmental collection operations.

Key Responsibilities
