Aegis Alfred Carson in Claremont is seeking a reliable Senior Cleaner for a permanent part-time role. You will work Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 2:30pm, contributing to high-standard cleaning, meal preparation support, and a positive dining environment for residents.

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Senior Cleaner to join our team at Aegis Alfred Carson in Claremont.

Located in one of Perth's most sought-after suburbs, Aegis Alfred Carson provides high-quality residential aged care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care and services that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

A Working Day Will Involve:

• Preparing residents' meals according to dietary and care plans in accordance with developed menus.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility in accordance with infection control standards and organisational policies.
• Ensuring correct food handling techniques are always observed.
• Assisting with meal service to provide residents with an enjoyable dining experience.
• Cleaning resident and communal areas to a high standard.
• Supporting the hospitality team to ensure efficient daily operations.

You Should Ideally Be Someone Who:

• Enjoys working with the elderly.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Is reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Has excellent time management skills and takes pride in their work.
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times.

You Should Possess the Following:

• At least 2 years' experience as a senior in a similar kitchen hand, cleaning or hospitality role, preferably within the healthcare or aged care industry.
• Experience in food preparation and cleaning practices.
• Knowledge of food safety and infection control principles.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
• Local applicants are highly regarded.
