Job summary

Aegis Alfred Carson (Claremont) is seeking a motivated Kitchen Hand/Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. You will prepare and serve meals to residents, maintain a clean, hygienic environment, and follow infection control standards in a aged care setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a similar role, experience with large-scale meal preparation, knowledge of food safety, and Australian working rights. The role requires flexibility across shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers.
• Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving residents' meals according to dietary plans and menus.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic work environment in line with infection control standards.
• Observing correct food handling techniques at all times.
