Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced Quarry Operators for an immediate start with a leading, family-owned company. The role offers ongoing casual work with a direct pathway to permanent full-time employment after 3 months and an immediate start.

You will operate mobile machinery across an active quarry site, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with a close team. Relevant tickets and a valid license are required, with competitive hourly pay and penalties.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3+ years operating heavy machinery in mining or quarrying.
• Clearances: MMQ or CBM, and ability to pass pre-employment medical.
• Transport: valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to access site.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile machinery across an active quarry site (Rigid Haul Trucks, Loaders, Excavators).
• Accept and deliver materials safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with the team and follow directives from Site Foreman/Manager.
• Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols.
• Sales loading experience is a bonus.

If you have 2-3+ years of experience operating heavy machinery in a mine or quarry environment, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating mobile machinery across an active quarry site (Rigid Haul Trucks, Loaders, and Excavators).
• Accepting and delivering materials safely and efficiently.
• Working closely within a team and following directives from the Site Foreman/Manager.
• Maintaining strict adherence to site safety protocols.
• Sales loading experience is a bonus

What You Need:

• Experience:2-3+ years operating machinery in a mining or quarrying environment.
• Tickets/Licences:Current Loader, Haul Truck, and Excavator tickets.
• Clearances:Current MMQ or CBM (or willing to be scheduled), and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Transport:Valid Driver's Licence and reliable personal vehicle to access the site.
• Gear:Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Attitude:A strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive 'can-do' approach.
