Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced Quarry Operators for an immediate start with a leading, family-owned company in Australia. You will operate mobile machinery across an active quarry site and work closely with a team, following directions from the Site Foreman/Manager.

Immediate start and ongoing casual work with a clear pathway to permanent employment after 3 months. Offer includes up to 42.50 AUD per hour, superannuation, and penalties, with plenty of hours and overtime.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years operating heavy machinery in a mining or quarry environment.
• Current Loader, Haul Truck, and Excavator tickets.
• Clear MMQ or CBM clearance or willing to be scheduled, pass a pre-employment medical.
• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable personal vehicle to access site.
• Full PPE and proactive, reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile machinery across an active quarry site (Rigid Haul Trucks, Loaders, Excavators).
• Accept and deliver materials safely and efficiently.
• Work with the team and follow Site Foreman/Manager directives.
• Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols.
• Sales loading experience is a bonus.

If you have 2-3+ years of experience operating heavy machinery in a mine or quarry environment, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating mobile machinery across an active quarry site (Rigid Haul Trucks, Loaders, and Excavators).

• Working closely within a team and following directives from the Site Foreman/Manager.
• Maintaining strict adherence to site safety protocols.

What You Need:

• Tickets/Licences: Current Loader, Haul Truck, and Excavator tickets.
