Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking an Ancillary Operator + Trainer Assessor for a coal mine near Moranbah in the Coal Mining Department. You will operate CAT 793 Dump Trucks, Graders and Water Carts, and upskill operators for ongoing 5-year validation.

Role involves a 7/7 rotating roster on-site near Moranbah with residential, DIDO and BIBO options across Moranbah, Mackay and Rockhampton.

Qualifications

• Previous mining experience operating CAT 793 Dump Trucks, Graders and Water Carts in a Coal Mining Department.
• Trainer Assessor qualifications (TAE40116) for delivering relevant training.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate and upskill operators on CAT 793 Dump Trucks, Graders and Water Carts.
• Refresh operator skills for 5+ years validation.
• Support a 7/7 rotating roster at a Moranbah-area mine site and neighbour regions.

Job description

Our client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. They operate seven Bowen Basin mine sites with roles available across the operations with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working as a Ancillary Operator + Trainer Assessor on a coal mine near Moranbah within the Coal Mining Department. You will be responsible for operating and upskilling Operators on CAT 793 Dump Trucks, Graders and Water Carts and refreshing existing Operators skill for another 5 years validation. You will be working a 7/7 rotating roster on a site based near Moranbah. Roles are available for residential (Moranbah region), DIDO and BIBO (Mackay & Rockhampton) candidates.

What You Will Need

Previous mining experience operating CAT 793 Dump Trucks, Graders, Water Carts within a Coal Mining Department.

Previous mining experience as a Trainer Assessor providing the relevant qualifications (TAE40116)

You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or be willing to attain this.

SSE signed skills list, Trainer Assessor qualifications, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
