Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator for their site in Middlemount, QLD. You will operate electric haul trucks and other production equipment to support safe, efficient output across the site.

The role requires proven experience with electric haul trucks and at least two additional mining skills (graders, excavators, water carts), plus current medicals and a valid licence. Immediate start on a 7/7 roster.

Qualifications

• Experience operating electric haul trucks (Komatsu 830E, 930E or similar).
• Minimum two additional production mining skills (e.g., graders, excavators, water carts).
• Must have current standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric haul trucks and other production equipment to support safe, efficient production.
• Work across the production department to meet site targets.
• Maintain safety and compliance in all tasks.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will be working as a Multi-Skilled Operator within the Production Department. To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience operating electric haul trucks along with a minimum of two additional production mining skills. You will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment to support safe and efficient production outcomes across site.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a combination of:
• Electric Haul Trucks (Komatsu 830E, 930E and/or similar electric truck fleets)
• 16m -24m Graders
• Hitachi EX5500-6, Liebherr 996 or O&K 340 Excavators
• CAT 773 or 785 Water Carts

What You Will Need

• Current Training Transcripts/LMS demonstrating proven experience operating Electric Haul Trucks (Komatsu 830E, Komatsu 930E, or similar) +Competency in a minimum of two additional production mining skills, including:
• Graders
• Excavators
• CAT 7Water Carts
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
• Current Driver's Licence
• Current Resume
• Ability to pass a Pre Employment Drug and Alcohol
