Job summary

MacKellar is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Production Operators for a growing mining project near Nyngan, NSW. This role offers FIFO from Brisbane, camp accommodation and meals, and the chance to operate a modern fleet alongside an established team.

You will run Haul Trucks, Dozers, and at least one additional machine such as Graders, Water Trucks, Loaders or Excavators, with a strong focus on safety and production targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy mobile equipment in a production mining environment.
• Proven experience operating Haul Trucks and Dozers.
• Experience operating at least one of Graders, Water Trucks, Loaders or Excavators.
• Relevant RII competencies and/or verifiable operating history.
• Strong commitment to safe and responsible equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Haul Trucks and Dozers safely.
• Operate at least one additional production machine as required.
• Complete pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Identify and report equipment faults and operational issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in line with site requirements.
• Work as part of a team to achieve production targets.
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain housekeeping.

MacKellar is continuing to grow its partnership with Aeris Resources on a developing mining project near Nyngan, NSW, and we’re looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Production Operators to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work on a growing mining project, with FIFO from Brisbane, camp accommodation and meals provided, and the opportunity to operate a modern fleet alongside an experienced team.

About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Production Operator, you’ll play an important role in delivering safe and productive mining operations.
You’ll operate multiple types of heavy mobile equipment across the site, working closely with Supervisors and fellow operators to achieve daily production targets while maintaining high standards of safety, equipment care and operational performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating Haul Trucks and Dozers
• Operating at least one additional production machine, such as Graders, Water Trucks, Loaders or Excavators
• Completing pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Identifying and reporting equipment faults and operational issues
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently in line with site requirements
• Working as part of a team to achieve production targets
• Following site safety procedures, standards and operating requirements
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and equipment care

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Previous experience operating heavy mobile equipment in a production mining environment
