Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Operators to support desilting works across Bowen Basin. The role offers $55-$58 per hour with a 5/2 roster, with potential move to 7/7, and a 3-month initial contract with ongoing work.

You will operate Diggers, Moxys, and Water Carts, perform pre-start checks, and adhere to safety and environmental procedures on site. Camp accommodation is provided and long-term opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in mining or civil earthworks.
• Coal Board Medical (CBM) and Standard 11 (S11)
• Relevant RII competencies for the listed machinery
• Must be willing and able to operate all listed equipment: Digger, Moxy, Water Cart

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and efficient desilting works across the site.
• Operate equipment interchangeably as required (Digger, Moxy, Water Cart).
• Conduct pre-start checks and defect reporting; maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Follow all site safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

We are actively seeking dedicated Multi-Skilled Operators to join our team to conduct desilting works. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely.

Requirements:

• Must be willing and able to operate all of the following equipment: Digger, Moxy, and Water Cart
• Dozer experience is desirable but not essential
• Minimum 12 months' experience in mining or civil earthworks
• Coal Board Medical (CBM)
• Standard 11 (S11)
• Relevant RII competencies for the listed machinery
• Strong focus on safety, efficiency, and team collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safe and efficient desilting works across the site
• Operate a range of equipment interchangeably as required, specifically Diggers, Moxys, and Water Carts
• Conduct pre-start checks, defect reporting, and ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained
• Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
