Job summary

The Mai-Wel Group is seeking a capable Facilities Maintenance Officer to join our team in Telarah, NSW. This permanent, full-time role will oversee preventative maintenance, coordinate repairs, and guide a maintenance crew across Mai-Wel sites in the Hunter Region.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, practical problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or similar
• Ability to plan, coordinate and deliver maintenance programs
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and maintain compliance

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and delivering internal Preventative Maintenance schedules
• Coordinating site and asset inspections
• Actioning work orders and repairs to minimise downtime
• Liaising with licensed Vendors & Contractors to ensure works are completed safely
• Identifying assets requiring repair, maintenance or replacement
• Monitoring safety, security and property protection issues
• Supervising, mentoring and training maintenance team members
• Supporting maintenance operations across multiple sites where required
