Job summary

PBE Rutherford Mining is expanding its operations and seeks an experienced site-based leader to own the electrical workforce across multiple projects. You will oversee electricians, apprentices, and trade staff, aligning labour with Program and Project Managers to deliver safe, efficient outcomes.

Based at Tomago, you’ll travel regularly to active sites across NSW and Queensland, reporting to the Projects Director and partnering with HSEQ, HR, and client teams to raise standards and drive

Qualifications

Proven experience leading multi-site electrical/workforce teams.
Strong planning and resource management across concurrent projects.
Ability to develop tradespeople and emerging leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead electricians, apprentices, leading hands, and trade assistants across multiple projects.
Plan and coordinate labour allocation with Program and Project Managers.
Ensure qualification, licensing, and site safety requirements remain current.
Visit active project sites to review implementation and performance.
Maintain Site Management Plans and enforce SWMS, permits, and HSEQ controls.
Forecast labour needs and address gaps with practical actions.
Provide leadership to site teams during challenges and drive improvements.
Report on workforce utilization, site compliance, and risks.
